Venue coordinators focus primarily on managing the venue itself and sometimes oversee food and beverage. In contrast, a wedding planner is dedicated to the entire wedding day experience. They provide comprehensive support, creating and managing the wedding day timeline, coordinating with vendors, managing budgets and style preferences, and overseeing design elements such as rentals, printed materials, and florals.

Typically, venue coordinators do not handle personal item setup, vendor booking, vendor communication, floorplan creation, or detailed timeline management. While the venue’s priority is the space itself, a wedding planner prioritizes the couple’s needs throughout the planning process and on the wedding day.

Planning a wedding often requires over 250 hours of work from start to finish! Hiring a professional wedding planner or coordinator can save you time, effort, and money. They can help you prioritize qualified vendors, create a personalized budget, and know what questions to ask. Wedding coordinators also review vendor contracts and more, offering valuable insights from their extensive experience. While this may be your first wedding, coordinators plan weddings year-round and have established relationships with reliable vendors. They know how to make your budget stretch further and bring your dream design to life. Most importantly, a coordinator ensures that you and your loved ones can fully enjoy your special day without stress.

Most Florida Wedding Venues require that vendors who will be working on the property have liability insurance. Precious Moments Events is fully insured with General and Professional Liability.

Generally, it’s best to send out wedding invitations 8-10 weeks before the big day. However, in particularly busy wedding years (like 2022), it’s wise to aim for 10-12 weeks in advance. Some guests may RSVP at the last minute, so giving yourself, the venue, and the caterer ample time to finalize the guest count is crucial. Additionally, consider factors like invitation weight, postal delivery times, and international invitations, as these can affect RSVP response times and the final guest count. Planning for these elements will help ensure a smoother process.

Growing up in a bustling household with 10 siblings, I learned the value of teamwork and the importance of making every moment count. This upbringing instilled in me a profound commitment to ensuring that each event I’m involved in is nothing short of flawless.

As an event designer, planner, and even an officiant, I thrive on the excitement of bringing my clients’ visions to life. With an outgoing nature and a genuine love for meeting new people, I find immense fulfillment in connecting with clients and helping them realize their dreams for their special day.

Greetings! I’m Audrey Fay, originally from Los Angeles but now happily settled in Sarasota since August 2023, drawn by the allure of its warm beaches. My journey has taken me through vibrant cities like New York, Portland, and Denver, each leaving its mark on my eclectic background in the arts spanning over six enriching years.

Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of contributing to the curation of events, festivals, and performances with esteemed organizations such as the Lois Lambert Gallery, RAW Natural Born Artists, The Broad Museum, Griffith Observatory, Denver Art Museum, Colorado Ballet, and the Denver Center for the Performing Arts. Additionally, I’ve ventured into the bridal industry, assisting families in selecting exquisite gowns and creating enduring memories for their special day.

My passion lies in crafting beautiful moments that foster connection within my community. As a cancer survivor, my perspective on life has been profoundly shaped, inspiring me to celebrate life and love in all its forms. When I’m not orchestrating unforgettable events or embarking on cross-country adventures, you’ll find me unwinding at a dog park or the dog beach in Venice with my husband and our beloved Mini Bernedoodle, LadyBird.

After 17 wonderful years in Fort Myers, I recently made Manatee County my home. With over five years of experience as a dedicated real estate agent, I’ve honed my skills in organization, client relationships, and attention to detail. While real estate remains a passion, planning my own wedding at the stunning Powel Crosley Estate sparked a new interest in wedding planning. I’m excited to help other brides turn their dream weddings into reality, creating joyful, stress-free celebrations. Outside of work, I love spending time at the beach, traveling to explore new places, and giving back to my community. Hello everyone! My name is Rebecca. I was born and raised in Sarasota, Florida, and I’ve always known this area would be forever home. I recently graduated from the State College of Florida with my Associates in Arts degree, and I am freshly diving into Event planning. From a very young age, I realized my passion for event planning, and it all started with simply planning each family vacation we would go on growing up.

A few events I have organized include a family trip to Italy, a family reunion to Disney World, and my 21st birthday trip to Key West, as well as hosting numerous other themed get together and birthday parties. I adore seeing the art of planning come to life and seeing how much joy it can bring to everyone around it.


When I am not planning, I am spending my time with my adorable 15 year old brown tabby cat, Flicka or my amazing friends and family that I am so grateful to have supporting me. I have a deep-rooted passion for music and enjoy writing, listening, analyzing lyrics, and singing along to all different kinds of music.

With over two decades of experience as an event designer, Eva brings a contemporary flair infused with a touch of whimsy and elegance to her work. She views design projects as collaborative endeavors, where her clients’ inspirations and aspirations come to life through her creative vision.

The result? Personalized designs that exude beauty and charm, transforming events into unforgettable experiences.

Throughout her career, Eva has had the pleasure of working with a diverse clientele on a wide array of occasions, spanning from intimate private parties to extravagant weddings, from exhilarating ballroom dance competitions to glamorous charity balls.

In the vibrant Sarasota area, Eva has lent her talents to designing weddings and events at prestigious venues such as the Ringling Museum, Selby Gardens, Ca d’Zan, the Powel Crosley Estate, Ritz-Carlton Sarasota, Art Ovation Hotel, Zota Beach Resort, and many more.
