The Engagement: Where it all started

We went to high school together, actually didn’t really like one another lol. I the bride graduated in 2014, and rick the groom graduated in 2012. We later reconnected in 2015 through social media. Rick was in a motorcycle accident shortly after we got together and he spent almost 4 months in the hospital learning how to use his strength to walk again. I never missed a day, throughout the hardship we both knew, we needed each other, forever. We began talking about marriage and children and I always said I wanted my proposal to embarrass me. I never knew it was coming, and ill never forget it. It was the summer of 2018 my first vacation week at Wildwood NJ, my fiance’s childhood vacation spot. As we get on the beach I asked to get photos before I got all messy and sweaty. He didn’t want to, so I threw a fit and took a nap LOL. I got woken up out of my sleep for “pictures”. I walk to the shore like and my sister-in-law asks what is that? She points to the ocean. It was a screened message boat with a quote “Kayla will you be my wife & Camden’s stepmom”? I turn around my fiance was on his knee and there was a photographer capturing it all.

The Inspiration & Story behind their Wedding

The happy couple recently got married at The Bishop Museum of Science & Nature. Our company loves using this location, they offer a beautiful outdoor space that accommodates any party size and has a touch of history and elegance that made it a perfect place for Ciarra and Michael to say “I do”. Ciarra explains that the inspiration behind their wedding was “I was throwing it all together hoping for the best. But Michelle has taken control of the decor etc which I’m happy about. We find that we are beachy, modern, and romantic, rustic, etc all in one. We find that we are beachy, modern, and romantic, rustic, etc all in one. I believe everything/diff decor can complement each other in their own ways if done correctly The Sandcastle Resort and Lido Beach were able to match both Kayla and Rick’s “Wedding day look” by setting a very tropical tone through the decorations and theme of the ceremony. They decided on their Wedding colors by incorporating some tropicals – blues, silvers, and Turquoise. We love the beach, we love Florida. We originally only wanted something small and intimate couple was able to pull off a stunning wedding and were fortunate to have it be in one of their favorite destinations!

Helpful Tips/Advice for Future Brides & Engaged Couples
